Dark Reign Blog News. Plus Q&A

The blog and the series as a whole is going well. I will answer some questions people might have about the blog. I will continue with the Eden Chronicles for quite sometime, lore posts will also be made adjacent at the same time as well.

Question: Why all the Easter eggs to related things like: World event's, video games, movies etc.

Answer: Well, when i envision this series, i wanted this series to have a mixture of fantasy and realism, not to mention a few noticeable secrets along the way. Is it painfully obvious to where this might be heading? Yes, but at least I am having fun with it, and hopefully so does the viewers.

Question: Why stop at chapter 15? then go on to do this "Eden Chronicles"?!

Answer: I thought people might be wondering about that. The Dark Reign series is divided up into three books, "Dark Reign", "Dark Reign: Eden Chronicles" and lastly "Dark Reign: Paradise Lost", now while i didn't announce "Paradise Lost" I thought i will like the viewers of my stories to know that is the final chapter in the Oda saga.

Question: Any plans for spin-offs?

Answer: I thought about that as well, yes those spin-offs will happen. But not now, I have stuff going on in my personal life, and I am a college student, plus i need more creative imagination to do these spin-offs, most likely i will do stories based around or at the same time the main stories are happening. Will they be consider canon? Well, we shall see.

Question: Who is your favorite character within the series? And least?

Answer: Ah, my favorite character is Eden Oda, When i actually started this series, I had her as the first character, little did I realize at the time, was that her character would be bigger than i first realize. My least favorite character is surprisingly Ethan Oda, which is odd because i just need a modern interpretation of "Oda Nobunaga" except with different first name *laughs*. So i use the upcoming Final Fantasy XV main character Noctis imagery for what i needed to use for Ethan Oda. If that answers the question on my least favorite character.

Question: Her "image" or at least your interpretation of her in the Dark Reign universe looks familiar

Answer: Ah yes, *laughs* the image in question, is in fact the Elder Vampire Amelia from the Underworld movies, who is portrayed by Hungarian supermodel Zita Görög. Her appearance in Underworld: Evolution during the intro, helped me craft what Eden Oda would look like, or at least in the Dark Reign universe give me an idea. Now, since "Amelia" within the Underworld universe had little to no explanation, thanks to the fan-base, they created these fan fiction stories. From there I use what i gather from their interpretation of Amelia to build my Eden Oda.

6. 

Question: Will there be an official website with all of this in it?

Answers: Eventually, I want to establish this universe first! Then start creating the website. It will take a long time before that happens however.
